Released in 2018 as the 5th and final iteration of the highly acclaimed Johnnie Walker Private Collection, the Johnnie Walker John Walker & Sons Private Collection Midnight Blend 28 year old is a wonderfully crafted single malt Scotch from this legendary brand. Offered in just 3,888 bottles, this exceptional whisky features a selection of handpicked single malt and grain whiskies from renowned distilleries including Cambus in the Lowlands, Strathmillon in Speyside, Caol Ila on Islay, and Clynelish in the Highlands. After sampling over 250 unique whiskies, Jim Beveridge chose only the finest to create three special vattings before marrying them together to make the final blend for this distinct special edition Scotch. Presented in a stylish, hand-blown glass decanter and bottled at 42.8% ABV, the Midnight Blend 28 Year combines distillate from the previous four releases in the Walker Private Collection, namely; A Unique Smoky Blend (2014), Fare Fruit Character (2015), Fine Honeyed Notes (2016), and Mastery of Oak (2017).…
