Casa Dragones Mizunara Casks Tequila Reposado is the first iteration by this premium Mexican distiller to be matured in rare, virgin Mizunara oak casks. Aged for a minimum of 1 year and bottled at 40% ABV, this mesmerizing tequila is derived from 100% blue Weber agave and is most noted for its delicate color, light body, and superb aromatics. On the nose are blooms of orange flowers, magnolia, and sweet honey over hints of sandalwood spice and herbs. The palate is layered in rich oak, butterscotch candies, agave, and apricot. Elegant and masterfully crafted, Casa Dragones Mizunara Casks Tequila Reposado finishes with a simmering note of brewed coffee and mild spices.…

About the brand

Founded in 2009 by Bertha Gonzalez Nieves - the first woman ever to be certified as ‘Maestra Tequilera’ by the Academia Mexicana de Catadores de Tequila, Casa Dragones is superior crafted Mexican tequila from Jalisco Mexico. The brand is based in San Miguel de Allende and was named in honor of the town’s cavalry which helped during the Mexican War of Independence. Casa Dragones offers its original blend, Tequila Casa Dragones Joven, as well as Dragones Blanco tequila (released 2014), and a barrel blend launched in June 2020. Tequila Casa Dragones Barrel Blend is anjeo tequila matured in a combination of two custom wood barrels made from French oak and American oak. This ultra-select tequila brand was named one of the “Best Spirits and Cocktails of 2019” by Forbes and has received additional acclaim from various other magazines and celebrities, including Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres.
