Notably finished using hickory charcoal filtration (after ageing but before bottling, unique to this brand) Peg Leg Poker Tennessee Bourbon is expertly sourced whiskey derived from otherwise undisclosed distilleries (thought to be George Dickel) and composed of an undeclared mash bill estimated to contain 84% corn, 8% rye, and 8% malted barley. Aged for a minimum of 8 years in virgin charred oak, this sweet bourbon is bottled at 90-proof. The nose opens with sweet corn, candy-coated chocolate, vanilla, and oak dusted with floral seasoning and herbs. About the brand

Peg Leg Porker is a BBQ restaurant located in Nashville, TN owned by Pitmaster Carey Bringle who lost his leg to cancer at a young age; hence the name. Bringle says, after the whiskey is taken from its barrels, it is filtered through hickory creating the signature flavor and color. BBQ fans and bourbon fans will love this whiskey. 8+ year whiskey, 8 year age statement on the label.
