Offered as the first collaboration between father and son master duo Fred and Freddie Now, the Jim Beam Lineage Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey was released in 2021 and offered exclusively to the travel-retail market. Rare and exceptionally collectible, this premium whiskey was originally distilled in 2004 and matured for a minimum of 15 years in new charred white oak barrels stored in Beam's Warehouse K. The 2021 Lineage Bourbon comprises a mash bill of 77% corn, 13% rye, and 10% malted barley and is bottled at 55.5% ABV. Cited as the first bourbon from the Jim Beam portfolio to wear Freddie's name, this superb quaff offers up aromatic notes of oak, roasted nuts, cinnamon, spice, dark fruits, and vanilla blended with caramel and citrus. A true American icon, Jim Beam was first established in 1795 with over seven generations of the Beam family involved in producing one of the most celebrated brands of whiskey in the world. This legacy whiskey was originally labeled under the name Old Jake Beam Sour Mash by founder Johannes “Jacob” Beam and is manufactured in Clermont Kentucky by Beam Suntory, who purchased the brand in 2014. The Beam business expanded in the early 1940s and eventually grew into the family of brands it is today - including holding stock in several world-renowned labels such as Booker’s, Basil Hayden’s, Knob Creek, and Baker’s.
